The second half of James 2 discusses the connection between two big topics: faith and works.

James 2 teaches a very simple concept and yet the necessity of obedience is often challenged.  Are works necessary for salvation? That’s something I hope we can clear up this lesson.

The question is: what kind of impact or influence should faith have over our actions? James shows us in this passage that faith without works will not save us! He also demonstrates that faithful people in the Bible always acted based on their faith.
