He Is to Be Our Pattern

• Walk as He walked. 1 John 2:3-6

• An example for servants. 1 Pet. 2:21

• Renewed in knowledge according to His image. Col. 3:9-10

 

Doing God’s Will

• His Father’s business. Luke 2:41-50

  • Where are our priorities?

• Put God before family.

  • Matt. 12:46-50; Luke 11:27-28; Mt. 10:34-37

• Determined, even in the face of difficulty.

  • Luke 9:51; Matt. 26:36-44

  • Will we be committed to the Father’s will when it will prove costly?

 

Conclusion

• Is Jesus the pattern for our lives?

• Does the Father’s will reign supreme in our lives?

• Do we choose His will over everything else?

• If not, things need to change.
